By far our favorite restaurant in this area. The waiters and staff are so friendly and always greet us with smiles. We had the melone di prosciutto for appetizer which was so fresh and ripe. They’re pasta dishes are excellent, we often order the cacio e pepe, which is so tasty and cooked to perfection. We split the margherita pizza as well which was simple and delicious. The end all dessert is their in house made chocolate mousse, probably the best we’ve eaten anywhere.

The food and service weee excellent. Consider the artichoke with anchovy dressing, the ravioli with truffles, and the square spaghetti with Amatriciana. All wonderful dishes.

The fine gentleman that work at this restaurant have been nothing but the best for us! We are staying just seconds from the restaurant and have been there many times and are taking a trip through their menu. The food has not disappointed! Our 4 year old has enjoyed all types of pasta…mostly with butter but also with the meat sauce! My wife and I have tried 6 different meals and have not found a bad one yet. The carbonara has been my favorite so far! However, as a parent it is often more important to me that my child is treated with friendliness and respect. This place has shown both at every meal. They even introduced him to their pet! Swing by and meet Ginger! They also own a breakfast spot just a 12 minute walk from this restaurant that can’t be beat!

Great food at adequate price. Carbonara is very good. I also tried Ceci e Pepe as everyone was recommending and honestly I don’t get how people can recommend it over the other great pastas. Sure it’s tasty but it’s just pasta with cheese and black pepper. Much less interesting than aforementioned carbonara. The service and atmosphere are great. We were walking past this restaurant but decided to stop by and they didn’t have a table outside but still managed to accommodate us with very little wait. So, despite my experiment with Ceci e Pepe being underwhelming, the restaurant performed really well

Loved this place, easily my favourite in Rome. The food was terrific, and the characterful interior has relics of ancient Rome everywhere (even a see-through floor in places) giving you a real feeling of its heritage.

We had arrived to Rome and didn’t have dinner plans. Hotel recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Their gnocchi was the best I have ever had. Great wine selection especially for people that really know wine. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding service and food. So hard to compete with all the great restaurants in Rome but this one quite possibly takes the cake. Can’t recommend enough!!
